THE CATHEDRALS OF OUR ILLUSIONS ARE BURNING

Seeing the cathedral Notre-Dame of Paris in flames, watching parts of historical heritage disappear, I was observing carefully the impact this event had on people: spectators in tears, under shock, speechless. There was a lot of sadness and disbelief. Voyant la cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris en flammes, regardant parts d’un patrimoine historique disparaître, j’étais surtout impressionné et touché par l’impact que cet évènement avait sur les citoyens : les personnes en larmes, sous choc, ne trouvant plus de mots. On observait beaucoup de tristesse et d’incrédulité. Et si ces flammes avaient surtout atteints notre fort intérieur ou on cultive une croyance erronée d’une permanence rassurante  des choses? NEW PERSPECTIVES ON QUARRELS AND DISAGREEMENTS AT WORK!

“He has still not answered my email”, “She again criticized my idea during the conference call”, “Why I am not invited to this meeting?”…  Often, our emotions will ride very high, very quickly: sadness, fear, angriness, hatred and grudge.

What happens then?
